For the Watchman on the Wall Who Give us Hope by their Perseverance.
What is it you watch for friend? By watching for a rapture we hope to escape the worst of the tribulation. “Pray that ye escape these times”. Jesus
But we do not know how it will play out ultimately. For we are either to be martyrs or those who by Grace and God’s eternal mercy and Love receive the gift of transfiguration.
“Not all shall die, but we shall all be changed. In the wink of an eye, at the last Trump.”
Faith and Hope Keep us. We must nurture our Eternal Gifts from God.
With the Mandela effect none of these famous photos are accurate anymore. Seems AI has genericized every famous face on the internet. Removed individuality and distinction from the mix. Nevertheless this is as close as I could come to memory of Bob Dylan.
“There must be some kind of way outta here
Said the joker to the thief
There’s too much confusion
I can’t get no relief
Business men, they drink my wine
Plowmen take my herbs
None will level on the line
Nobody offered His Word (or Nobody of any worth)
No reason to get excited
The thief, he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who think that life is but a joke
But, you and I, we’ve been through that
And this is not our game (or fate)
So let us not talk falsely now
The hour’s getting late, hey
All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too
Well, uh, outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl, hey
All along the watchtower
All along the watchtower”
God’s Promises & Possible Rapture
“Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. The trumpet will sound, and the dead in Christ shall be raised imperishable and corruption shall be made into incorruption. The temporal shall become eternal.”
“Watch ye therefore, and pray that ye may be found worthy to escape the destruction that shall come upon the Earth, and to stand before the Son of GOD.”
For the Lord himself shall descend with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we which who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with Jesus in the clouds Heavens to meet the Lord. And so shall we forever be with God Almighty.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For the corruptible shall put on incorruption, and mortality shall put on immortality.
So when the corruptible puts on incorruption, and the mortal shall put on immortality, then shall be the completion of the saying- Death is swallowed up in victory.
Death, where is thy victory? Grave, where is thy power of bondage & fear?
For the law was written to show sin in its true light.
Jesus fulfilled the law setting the captives free. He delivered those of us who all our lives, under through fear of death suffered bondage.
He who The Son of God sets free is Free Indeed. Love covers a multitude of sin. Jesus shall not lose not one soul whom The Father gave Him.
For the anchor of death is sin by law. But by Faith ye are saved. And by Grace we are forgiven. Death cannot hold us. Jesus took the keys to death and hell and those keys are yours by Faith in Him.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
